Ephesians 4:26-27 (NIV) "In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." Anger is something that occurs spontaneously. That means we have little control over it. But our anger should not lead us into sin. When we keep anger within us, gradually there is an evil desire and bitterness that builds up to make us want to sin. So the bible tells not to postpone what happens in a day to the following day. In other words you must prepare yourself for the freshness that comes the next day by not letting the sun go down while you are still angry. Remember God's mercies are new every morning. So we should be ready to receive and walk in the mercies of God daily. The devil should not be given an opportunity to function in our lives. Good morning child of God. Blessings for your day.
