Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth

1 John 3:16-18 (NIV) "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." Many times as children of God we tend to love others with our mouths yet our actions betray us. Someone comes to you with a problem, you listen with pity. At the end of the conversation you tell that person how you would have wished to help yet you know inside of you that you have the capacity to help. If you are not ready to help, rather don't say anything because we always offend in word. Let the love of God be grounded in us dear brethren. Let the people who don't know God desire to come to Him because of the love we portray. The small things we do in the gospel make a big difference in people's lives. Blessings for your day.
