Keep your eyes on Jesus

Hebrews 12:2-3 (MSG) “Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!” The Bible tells us that Jesus was fully human. Can you imagine that not for a single day on earth did he sin;-even to the point of death He endured the cross yet because of having heavenly authority, He could have easily called an army of angels to defend Him during that trying moment He was in, but nonetheless, He was so focused on God that He didn't want divine purpose to fail, that's why He gave in to that painful death on the cross. Likewise to us, when we are tempted and find ourselves failing in the faith, then we should study how Jesus did it-going over each and every detail. In verse 4 of Hebrews 12, we are told to resist to the point of shedding blood in our struggle against sin. Many of us give in at the initial stages of temptation and miss out on the final crown awaiting us when we successfully overcome. We must remember that;-No test or temptation that comes our way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All we need to remember is that God will never let us down; he’ll never let us be pushed past our limit; he’ll always be there to help us come through it.”1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:13‬ "Let the word always shoot Adrenaline into our souls." Blessed weekend child of God
