Let's take every opportunity to minister Christ
Acts 26:28-29 (NIV) “Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?” Paul replied, “Short time or long—I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.”” Apostle Paul is seen as one of the greatest Apostles of Jesus Christ. God used him greatly in ministering the gospel especially to the gentiles. As we can see from the scriptures, he faced so much opposition but amidst all these, he didn't cease from carrying out his calling. The gospel landed him in prison yet he continued preaching it even while there. In-fact when in prison, Paul took every opportunity to minister Christ to the very people who would have set him free. The Bible tells us that on one occasion Paul was brought before King Agrippa to state a defense for himself. He preached the gospel to the king who made a statement that if Paul went on any longer, he would have become a Christian. We know the king made this statement acknowledging the truth Paul preached. And who knows, maybe in private he gave his life to Christ. Dear brethren we all look at the life of Apostle Paul with great admiration yet not willing to walk the life did. Let this message be a challenge to all of us today that whenever God gives us an opportunity to preach Christ, let's do it willingly and boldly. You only have no idea how many souls you will be saving for the kingdom by doing that. God bless your day child of God
