Mind your own business
Matthew 11:17-18 (ERV) “‘We played flute music for you, but you did not dance; we sang a funeral song, but you were not sad.’ Why do I say people are like that? Because John came, not eating like other people or drinking wine, and people say, ‘He has a demon inside him.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and people say, ‘Look at him! He eats too much and drinks too much wine. He’s a friend of tax collectors and other sinners.’ But wisdom is shown to be right by what it does.” In this world, there will always be opinion polls no matter how you live your life. In the scripture above, the Bible tells us that people will always say things about us no matter how good we are. Jesus was perfect in everything but still He was accused for death threatening crimes. Because of fear of opinion polls, some people fall prey and their lives are completely destroyed because they take on a life of a Lie. Many times these opinions are based on world standards and beliefs which are not based on God's truth. Here is the deal, if people will always say things about us whether we are good or bad, then why don't we take on the good form and live by it because at the end of it all, it's not people who will judge us but God who sees our hearts will be the righteous judge. Let's stand by truth and do everything in truth rebuking what's wrong and exalting what's true. It's dangerous when we call ourselves Christians and yet live by world standards. Wisdom is shown to be right by what it does. God bless your day
