1 Corinthians 3:4 (ERV) “One of you says, “I follow Paul,” and someone else says, “I follow Apollos.” When you say things like that, you are acting like people of the world.” Just like it was in the old, even today many Christians are failing to see the big picture of the purpose of God. All we are doing is focusing on the religious groups we have and forget the whole purpose of church which is centred in Christ. These groups have caused so much divisions in the body of Christ and put Christ outside their workings. Simply because someone belongs to Anglican, or Catholic, Methodist or even Pentecostal group, they wouldn't want to have anything to do with a brother of the other group. That's what Paul calls acting like people in the world. Shall we for once forget about these groups and have our main focus and attention on Christ the hope of glory. Many times there is resistance to change because we don't take time to read what is written in the scriptures and we simply take the messages from our different sects as absolute truth without referencing to the bible. The word is very clear to whom we have to have our priority. Let Christ be centred in everything we do and let's try to avoid all the divisions and hatred in the body of Christ. Have a blessed Sunday child of God.
