Do not be unequally yoked
1 Corinthians 6:14 (TLV) “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?” When the Bible says that do not be unequally yoked means that in the first place a believer and none believer are not equal. When we become born again and grow in the knowledge of God, we surpass the life of a normal human being. Let's take an example of a bull and a goat. When you yoke these two animals together and expect them to plough a farm, you may never achieve the desired results. The reason is that the bull and goat have different sizes and speed. This limits their working together. Now in our normal life, when we subject ourselves to the men of this world, we cease to operate and function according to the way God has called us to operate. The simple reason is that a man that walks with God is expected to live by faith which is different from a man in the world that lives according to the way of the flesh. So the fleshly desires of the man in the world will be fighting the faith of the man in the spirit when they get yoked together. At the end of it all, we suffer challenges of our making. The anointing of God breaks every yoke that we might be submitted to, to allow our full operation in God. The bible tells us that we are co-heirs with Christ meaning we are co-yoked with Christ and we move at the same pace with Christ so that as He is, so are we in this world. Child of God learn to be yoked with Christ because you can do all things through Him who strengthens us. Have a blessed day
