Let the light of Christ shine into our lives

2 Corinthians 4:6 (KJV)

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

"Ultimate reality and truth lie in Jesus Christ, "true light which gives light to every man coming into the world." When we ignore him, we put ourselves in peril. This is why we must always seek the light to challenge our dearly held ideas and opinions. We must not become confident in our own ways, otherwise we may miss the "big picture" as God sees it and pay dearly in unexpected and unintended ways.

It is so easy to trust only in ourselves, even as believers. When we do, we endanger ourselves and the lives of others, especially the ones we love most. So with the light of Jesus Christ who is our way, truth and life, we know we are headed in the right direction. All of us many times experience uncertainty and darkness, but in Him there is no darkness at all." (Pastor Dr. T. Valson Abraham)

So brethren let our emotions, opinions and ideas not guide us but let the light of Christ shine into our lives so that we live according to His ways and not ours.
