Make God's Word a daily mirror
2 Peter 3:18 (AMPC)
“But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)!”
Total Transformation for any child of God does not take place on the day one becomes born again but what gets transformed instantly is the spirit and that's why there is necessity to grow it. Paul says the same thing when he encourages us to keep renewing our minds in Romans 12:2. And this renewal is by looking at the word of God everyday as a mirror.
A mirror is very important to every man because it helps us to see those dark spots that are not part of us. Likewise the word of God points us to Jesus and his love for us. Every time we read it, we grow in this understanding of his love for us and likewise our trust and love for him grows.
So if you truthfully want to grow in God, know his word by making it a daily mirror.
Blessed Sunday
