1 Corinthians 14:1 (MSG)
“Go after a life of love as if your life depended on it—because it does. Give yourselves to the gifts God gives you. Most of all, try to proclaim his truth."
Loving is one of the hardest things in the world yet it's the definition of a New Testament creature. The bible says that we must go after a life of love because our lives depend on it. Meaning you and I must practice love. This concept of love is the only way of drawing ourselves to God because God is the fountain of love. That's why the summary of the entire law of Moses is love.
When you practice this love, the struggle of sin reduces. There is no way you will envy, slander, lust and keep on practicing all things that stumble your walk with God. Loving the people who love you is good but loving the people who don't love you is the best thing you can do. God loved us in our sin and sent Jesus so that sin is taken forever through the faith in him.
Blessed weekend
