Love your neighbor
Matthew 25:35-36 (GNT)
“I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me.’”
In our pursuit of God, we should not have a zeal for Him and forget to do the very basic things He has commanded us to do. For example, Jesus tells of a Samaritan story in which the priest bypassed a helpless man simply because he was rushing for prayers (Luke 24:30-37).
The God we serve can show Himself in any form and He desires our obedience to execute everything He has commanded. The bible says that God created man in His own image. That's why we ought to treat everyone with respect, love and kindness. Those who are needy can get a helping hand through us who have professed God. Some people just need someone who can listen to them. In doing that, you are securing yourself a crown in heaven.
God bless your new month
