John 14:12 (GNT)
“I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do—yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the Father."
Question? What did Jesus do? Jesus preached the gospel, healed the sick, fed thousands, gave hope to the hopeless and many more. John 8:32 says that you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. And what's truth. Truth is Jesus Himself for He says in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth and life. When you feed on this word of God, your life and thought pattern changes completely. You begin to see the bigger assignment that Christ has given everyone who believes in Him.
In Jesus' time, many people followed Him for various reasons. Some to get healing, others to hear the great wisdom in Him and to some others, they hoped to get food. Whatever the reason, I believe their lives changed completely when they encountered this Jesus. When you understand this truth, being rich becomes part of you because you must provide for the needy.
Question? Who do you expect to send relief supplies to affected nations and people, who will look after orphans and widows? Christian or non-Christian? Obviously you and I. How can we accomplish that? By simply believing on God's provision and asking anything we need through Christ Jesus. (John 14:14)
You and I will do greater things than Christ did when we believe in Him. (Promise). Be expectant. Me excited already. Are you?
