Proverbs 4:23 (ERV) “Above all, be careful what you think because your thoughts control your life.” The primary definition of any man is by what their thinking is full of. In a job interview, the interviewer tries to test the state of one’s reasoning ability and logic. The greater percentage of one getting the job entirely depends on what one speaks regardless of how they dressed. Let’s digress a little from jobs to our main topic body soul and spirit. When your body is attacked by anything, be it sickness, insults, pain, hunger and many more things; your immediate reaction tests the state of your soul and spirit. Your soul is filled with free will. That means it can choose anywhere to belong depending on whom is stronger. When your body is attacked, your soul makes allies with either the body or spirit. The Bible says that once two witnesses come into agreement then it will be so (2 Corinthians 13:1). For example if your body starts to feel pain, your soul can react with emotion to confirm that you are sick, but if your spirit has been built up by the word of God, then your soul will ignore your body’s feeling and agrees with the spirit that by Christ’s stripes you were healed. As long as any two of your three components agree, it doesn’t matter what the other feels, it will be a done deal. Do you want to agree with the body or Spirit?
