Always be thankful to God
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (ESV) “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” One thing that distinguishes between a believer and non-believers is how they react to situations. We must understand that as long as we are still on this earth, the devil works tooth and nail to see the failure of anyone in Christ. This he does by laying many traps on a believer’s path so he can allure him from the right way. The tests and trials come to us depending on what we know. In Luke 8:13, Jesus says that there are people who, when they hear the word of God, receive it with joy. But because they have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing, they immediately fall away. After hearing the sermon on healing, the best the devil can do is to inflict you with pain the following day so that you question whether healing is real or not. How you react to that pain depends on how deep you are in God. This should be the opportunity you prove to the devil that you’ve grown. For everything that tends to happen to you, count it all joy because you are growing in God.
