Just stay humble

Matthew 23:12 (ERV) “People who think they are better than others will be made humble. But people who humble themselves will be made great.” One thing we must know is that God judges all men equally but all men are not equal before God. Take the example of Moses, Miriam and Aaron (Numbers 12:1-16). These three had a blood relationship and God spoke to all of them, but the moment Miriam and Aaron became proud and ended up criticising their brother, Moses never uttered any word. In-fact at this criticism, God sided with Moses. He exalted him in the face of his attackers and Miriam ended up leprous due to her attack. Never mess with the anointed one of God. You might be anointed too but it’s not prudent for you to attack another man anointed by God however wrong he may seem in your eyes. Brothers and sisters, sometimes our humility is tested through challenges. Don’t be in a haste to respond to someone who attacks you. It’s wise to remain silent on most occasions. Silence does not mean you are weak or wrong. It simply means you are handing over the battle to God. However hard the enemy bites, remain humble and let God fight for you. Some people are humble when they are poor. The moment they get money, is when you see all the arrogance and pride. Stay humble even if you own the entire universe, it’s all God’s creation.
