Where is our confidence?

Matthew 10:28 (GNT) “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather be afraid of God, who can destroy both body and soul in hell.” Our arch enemy the devil operates by targeting our body. He has no access to your soul neither your spirit. Yet his main purpose is to get attention of your soul through the body. So he will do his best to weaken your faith by subjecting your body to situations that make you doubt God. We have very many examples of people in the Bible that have overcome flesh. Take Job for example. The devil did his best to weaken him but oh boy, the guy had an unshakable faith in God. Remember every trial you go through is temporary. And whenever it happens just thank God because your increase is assured after a trial. These trials are mere examinations to promote us to the next levels of glory. God is always faithful and cares about every detail of your life. Don’t give in to the cunningness of the devil. He may seem to destroy your body but don’t give him your soul as well. Keep believing even though the situation gets worse everyday. Let your faith in God be not shaken. Peace be with you.
