Know your enemy
2 Corinthians 2:11 (KJV) “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” In John 10:10, Jesus plainly outlined the devil’s plan. Jesus called him a thief that comes to steal, kill and destroy. The question is, what does the devil really steal? Is it a mobile phone, is it money or is it any valuable material items? Absolutely none of them for they are of no value to him. What the devil steals is your destiny. How? Your destiny is defined by the word of God, so if you never have time for the word, then you are kept in ignorance of your destiny and definitely the devil’s longtime schemes will work on you tossing you from place to place. When you don’t know the word of God, you become like an illiterate mother who received very many cheques from her son worth millions of dollars but instead called them coloured papers which she decorated on the walls of her house. She lived a poor life until she died. That’s how bad ignorance can be. Hosea 4:6 tells us that people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Brothers and sisters will you choose to read the word to overcome Satan’s schemes like Jesus did, or you will choose to be taken for a ride by the enemy? It’s all your choice. No one can choose for you. Even God can’t choose for you because of free will He has given all of us. He will only guide you. He tells us in Deuteronomy 30:19 that he has set before us life and death, but as a loving father, he encourages us to choose life. Meaning that God cannot force you to choose what you don’t want. Will you choose Life?
