Genesis 20:3 (ERV) “But one night God spoke to Abimelech in a dream and said, “You will die. The woman you took is married.”” The above verse is part of a bigger story of Abraham and King Abimelech. Sarah, Abraham’s wife was a very beautiful woman that King Abimelech wanted her for a wife. He took opportunity of that situation when Abraham told him that Sarah was his sister. But God could not let him sleep with Sarah. God made Abimelech impotent, even his wives and servant girls were made barren due to his attempt to sleep with Sarah. That’s how serious God can become with His own. It doesn’t matter whether Abraham lied or not. Sometimes we may think that the enemy is in control. There might even be signs of the enemy’s attack. What you should never do is panic because when God is on your side, the enemy will be made toothless that he won’t be able to bite. Never worry about anything but instead, rejoice always at every happenings because God will prove that He is God before your enemies.
