Genesis 24:12 (ESV) “And he said, "O Lord, God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today and show steadfast love to my master Abraham.” Sometimes, as humans, we feel like there are decisions we can make on our own without involving God. The moment we do that is when we make the wrong choices. The verse above is a prayer by Abraham’s oldest servant who was sent to get a wife for Isaac. The servant didn’t want to take chances by making his own choice, he simply made a prayer to God with a few signs attached. And God surely responded to the servant’s prayer and the result was Rebekah. Dear friend. Every morning you wake up, don’t take chance but commit your every detail of the day to God through a simple prayer. Don’t feel like you have too much experience not to involve God. There are things you might still not know. Let God always have the final say.
