It’s God’s will for His children to be rich

Deuteronomy 15:4 (ERV) “There should not be any poor people in your country, because the Lord your God is giving you this land. And the Lord will greatly bless you.” Brothers and sisters hear me today, it’s God’s desire for you and I to be rich and well. I have heard a couple of people preach against those who tell people that it’s God’s will for them to be rich. They sound so convincing by human language, but as much as I want to believe them, the harder it becomes for me because every time I read the scriptures, I stumble on verses that speak contrary to their notion. One thing I’ve learnt as I grow in God is not to speak evil. Speaking evil does not necessarily mean speaking heavy abusive words like the pagans do. Speaking evil means speaking anything contrary to the word of God. Remember the 12 spies who were sent by Moses to spy the land of Canaan. 10 of them brought a bad report and spoke evil. Their words were contrary to the will and plan of God for them. They sounded so convincing that they made the children of Israel rebel against Moses and God. The end result was rejection by God. So my beloveds, I challenge you today to heed to God’s word at all times. Don’t speak evil, don’t confirm evil, always remain positive and trust God by His word. It’s God’s will for you to be rich because He expects you to lend to nations, help the widows and orphans. So I find it disturbing when I hear anyone preaching against riches and promoting poverty. Our God is not poor, He is a rich God, All silver and gold belong to Him. *Further* *study* Deuteronomy 15:1-23 Haggai 2:8 Numbers 14:36-38
