Our God is a God of perfection

Deuteronomy 15:21 (ERV) ““But if an animal has something wrong with it—if it is crippled or blind or has something else wrong with it—then you must not sacrifice that animal to the Lord your God.” In Genesis 4:11, Cain was cursed because of his flimsy sacrifice to God. God made man in His own image. And because He is perfect, His image is expected to be perfect too. Just like God, we are potters who cannot let imperfection exist in moulds. In our mould making, we may make mistakes but we shouldn’t let them appear in finished products. The least we can do is break them and start afresh till we see good and perfect. Brethren, don’t settle for a low life of mediocrity because you’ve made mistakes in the past or because you think that it is God’s will. God’s will is for you to be healthy and perfect in all things. If God cannot accept a sacrifice of lame animals, who are you to accept a negative report. That report is not yours, it’s the devil’s definition of you. You can choose either to live an oppressed and diseased life, or a happy and enjoyable life in God. It’s a choice. For example, Acts 10:38 says that Jesus went around doing good, and healing all who were under the power of the devil. But Jesus just didn’t heal without the permission of those disadvantaged. On many occasions, He would ask them what they wanted. Their life only changed after they approved to change their disadvantaged situation. Don’t allow external elements to define your life, but define your life by the perfection of God. Learn to believe the report of the Lord.
